Bursting discs

Break monitoring

The alarms are installed on the blow-off side of the rupture disc unit between the holder outlet part and the flange and replace the usual seal. When the response pressure is reached, the rupture disc opens, destroying the alarm unit. This breaks the closed circuit and thus the operating current signal – the alarm is triggered.

Bursting discs mounting

The bursting discs are mounted with seals between flange and holder or alternatively with an alarm or leakage detector between flanges. By tightening the flange screws, the metallic seal between the bursting disc and the holder inlet part is reliably established.

Bursting discs metal

Metal rupture disks are used for direct installation between flanges, even without a holder, in your existing systems. The multi-part rupture discs (built up by several layers) are used to protect mainly low and static overpressure and / or underpressure.
They offer a variety of designs and configuration options. Whether vacuum-proof, double-acting or with integrated break monitoring, in standard materials or special materials.

Bursting discs graphite

Safety rupture disks made of graphite are perfectly suited for low to medium response pressures. The advantages of graphite as a material is in its high resistance to corrosion and a good price-performance ratio and its simple assembly.

The G3A consists of a graphite rupture disc that is integrated into a reinforcement ring made of stainless steel. It is also mounted directly between the flanges.
